| We Are Organic |
| We at Underwood Gardens and many of our growers use no chemicals, herbicides or pesticides, yet we choose not to spend the considerable amount of money it costs to be "certified" organic. We mark such varieties "organically grown". Our heirlooms are most often unavailable elsewhere, therefore certified organic growers are allowed to grow them. And seeds saved from the plants grown will provide them with "certified organic" seed for future crops. |
